A Nigerian lady has revealed how she got into a heated fight with her boyfriend after using his ATM card to buy hair which cost N650,000.
She said that she stopped him from buying things for her because he only purchases cheap iteams.
However, whenever she buys him something, like a N6k slippers he would refuse to wear it because it is costly.
The lady checked his account balance and saw over N1.8million in it, so she decided to use N650k to buy the wig of her choice.
Immediately he saw the debit alert, he called her phone and started shouting at her even before she got home.
She shared her story on social media in a bid to get people’s opinion on whether what she did was wrong.
She said; “I will be brief. I told my boyfriend to stop buying stuffs for me cos he only goes for cheap ones. If I buy him slippers of 6k. He won’t wear it. He will be complaining that it’s too costly.
I checked d account balance and it was 1,849,000. I decided to buy hair worth 650,000. Immediately my boyfriend got d alert. He didn’t even wait till I come home.
He was just shouting at me. I even felt embarrassed cos i know his neighbors will be hearing him. He told me if I don’t return this hair, I will never get a kobo from him again. Please guys. Is 650k too big to spend on the girl you love? Cos I feel he’s overreacting. If I dress fine, he will be done praising me.”
