A brilliant black woman has graduated from the University of the West of Scotland in the United Kingdom with 100% distinction in her Master’s degree program.
The lady identified as Mercy Ojetunde won the United Kingdom’s Commonwealth Shared Scholarship disclosed that she bagged her Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of the West of Scotland with a 100% grade having scored 180 out of the 180 points.
Sharing the goodnews through her LinkedIn profile, Mercy in her words captioned the post;
“I am delighted to announce that I have completed my Masters’s degree in Biotechnology at the University of the West of Scotland, and the final grades have been released. By the grace of God, I finished with a Distinction with 180/180 points earned,”
“I also want to use this medium to appreciate the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office for the sponsorship and opportunity to study in the UK. It was a great time to learn a lot and experience the abroad teaching and learning style,”
“Nothing is holding me back; I will keep moving. Your dreams are valid. Trust the process; you will get there,”
Mercy however started her search for MSc/PhD opportunities abroad as a result of her resolution to undergo her Master’s and Doctorate (PhD) abroad through sponsorship from international organisations.
In addition to celebrating her master’s degree bagging, Mercy had earlier disclosed that she had secured another scholarship in Biomedical Sciences (Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis Program) to earn her PhD degree at West Virginia University in the United States.
She has also been offered a graduate research assistantship position at the institution.
