I didn’t apologise to APC, says Sen Shehu Sani

Sen. Shehu Sani representing Kaduna Central said the claim made on his official Twitter handle that he called his Kaduna APC ward chairman and apologised to him is false and totally baseless.

A statement by Abdulsamad Chima Amadi, Special Assistant Media and Special Duties to the Senator, said on Saturday, while responding to a message from the official twitter handle of the Senator, purportedly apologising to the ward chairman on telephone.

“It is a big shame that despite all efforts to polish and launder the image of the party, some people are still bent on giving it a bad name,” the statement said.

He added: “Such irresponsible publications like the said tweet are the things that encourage the public to describe our great party as one built on lies and propaganda.

“Sen Shehu Sani is a humble and easy going fellow that will gladly apologise to even a street beggar if the need arises.”

The statement said as it stands with the Kaduna APC, the senator has no reasons what so ever to apologise to the party or any of her state officials.

The statement called on the general public to disregard the said tweet as it is the handiwork of selfish individuals that are bent on disgracing the APC with such falsehoods.
